Wash Care

Hand wash only: We recommend hand washing to preserve the fabric and vibrant colours. Do not machine wash.

Use mild detergent: Gently wash with a mild detergent suitable for delicate fabrics. Avoid harsh chemicals and bleach.

Cold water wash: Wash in cold or lukewarm water. Avoid hot water, which may damage the fabric and colours.

Handle gently: Swish the saree gently in water without rubbing or wringing. Take particular care with delicate embellishments.

Avoid soaking: Do not soak the saree for long periods. Excessive soaking may cause fading or damage the embroidery and zari work.

Rinse thoroughly: Rinse the saree thoroughly to remove all detergent residue.

Air dry: Hang the saree indoors to dry, away from direct sunlight to prevent fading. Do not wring. Gently squeeze or pat out excess water.

Ironing: Iron on a low to medium setting while the saree is slightly damp. Place a cotton or muslin cloth over it to protect delicate embroidery and zari work.

Storage: Keep the saree in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Avoid folding along embroidered or zari sections to prevent damage.
